Brothers in Arms

You could say this is the sibling photo of Nascent I took earlier in the year. Since Cheetahs don't seem to be all that common in zoos, I had to save some photos to post on the International Cheetah Day. 
I feel the title is somewhat fitting as these wonderful cats are still fighting for their continued survival, so this day being dedicated to them, is rightfully theirs

Latin name: Acinonyx Jubatus

Originates from Africa and the Middle East.

Current status: Vulnerable

…The Cheetah can clock in to 112 to 120 km/h (70 to 75 mph), making it the fasted land animal on the planet, covering 500 meters (1,600 ft) in short burst, and being able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in three seconds.

…It is one of the few Felids with semi-retractable claws.
