The same Hudson Bay Wolf pup again
There were more, in case you were wondering, but they were lying flat in the tall grass so it was pretty much impossible to get them on camera.
Species: Hudson Bay Wolf
Latin name: Canis Lupus Hudsonicus
Originates from Hudson Bay.
Current status: Not evaluated, but considered Endangered
Did you know:
…The Hudson Bay Wolf is often called Tundra Wolf, which is an entirely different subspecies of the Gray Wolf, while they in fact similar to the Mackenzie Valley Wolf, only smaller.
…They have been hunted in the 19th and 20th century for their pelts.
…Their fur ranges from a light gray to a yellowish-white or cream color, but the fur lightens in the Winter.
