Peeling an Apple

Another photo of that beloved "Utterly, Devastingly Adorable Cuteness" which is the Fennec Fox kit. There's only one, despite the earlier statement of the zoo there being two kits.
Two would have been more fun, but I'm happy to just have the one (always better than none). You can see in this photo his distinctly rounded belly - clearly, he does not suffer from being the only young kit.

Species: Fennec Fox (Fennek vos of Woestijnvos)
Latin name: Vulpes Zerda
Originates from Northern Africa.
Current status: Least Concern
Did you know:
…The word “Fennec” is Arabic for Fox, so basically, we call him “Fox Fox”.
…Its large ears are its most distinct feature, and serve to dissipate heat.
