It had been a few months since we last paid a visit to this zoo, but sometimes you need a good reason to travel. Like the return of a favorite animal from a behind-the-scenes enclosure.
And ta-ta-taa: the Ring-Tailed Mongoose is back! Best of all, when I really don't remember there being two before they started working on expanding the zoo (in which its enclosure had to make room for a kiddie playground), now there are
I'm guessing the one on the right, who has a broader head and body, is the male, to the slender one on the right being a female.
