Description
Photo taken in August, 2014 @ Zoo Dierenrijk, The Netherlands
The three Oriental Small-Clawed Otters taking a nap - cuddled into each other an on top of each other .
A few weeks before I took this photo, I noticed the one lying bottom-most (I hope to be able to submit a photo soon that shows you his snout - he hurt his nose and looks like a clown :giggle) didn't seem a part of the small group. It was just Lady Bucktooth and Mr. Fond-of-Himself (you really, really don't want to know) who were running around, and Clown-Nose was a few seconds late keeping up. Now, they're constantly with the three of them, lying like this around noon, and playing around early morning and late afternoon.

Aw they're so sweet! Otters look like they're almost as good at napping as kitties are.
