Description
When: April 30, 2017
Where: Kölner Zoo, Germany
Snow Leopards have proven, for us, to be quite elusive. We don't see them often, and when we do, often in a place that makes it impossible to photograph them.
Then we visited this zoo and this gorgeous Snow Leopard paraded so prettily, perfect for the camera, and would sit in a way that almost seem to convey she wanted me to take her photo. So I did.
She didn't move, was as still as a statue, which allowed me to play a bit with the lighting (her lower body was in the sun, her upper body and face in the shade) to make the most of it and her beauty
Species: Snow Leopard (Sneeuwluipaard)
Latin name: Uncia Uncia
Originates from Central Asia.
Current status: Endangered
