When: August 22, 2017
Where: Eureka Texel Zoo, The Netherlands
I can't rightly remember if we actually knew the Snowy Owly had a chick, but looking through the enclosure, I noticed this big ball of grey fluff in the corner. Completely over the moon and giddy with excitement I was more than happy to point it out to my parents and both my sisters. I didn't think he'd come out of that corner - but he did. Oh, how how he did
He was hungry, wanting to be fed, making adorable noises and flapping his wings and doing that head-bob Owls do so incredibly well One of the most adorable Owlets I've ever seen for sure
