With November coming to an end, it's once again that time of the month as we present the
Stars by Amarantheans
of the community.
Appreciating Journalists

Feature Stars are those deviants in our community who feature other artists in their journal features, receiving the Star! credits and spotlight for their unique style, consistency, original themes and support of their fellow artists.
These monthly journals were created to show appreciation to those amazing individuals.

As some people may be aware, November is (inter)National Novel Writing Month, a time of year when millions of people around the world write down their story in the hopes of one day turning it in with a publisher and finishing the journey with an actual finished novel.

Therefore it seems fitting to bestow the Feature Stars on three awesome people from the literature community.

Lady Lincoln is one of the people who, to me, represents the Literature community. In nearly all of her journals, be they personal or with a certain goal, she manages to include news from groups and friends on all things concerning Literature in our wonderful community. She's a proud supporter of many causes, and can be found to promote or hosts contests. She's a generous and kind person, who's journals always manage to leave me smiling no matter the message. She has a great eye for what things to feature and how, with care for beautiful skins to make the Lit pieces stand out in their midst.

When the mood strikes, I tend to browse the DA forums; this where I first stumbled across a rather delicious looking slice of pie who seemed to know what she was talking about. Neurotype would share her wisdom on all kinds of topics, but the comments that helped me the most were left in the Literature forum. Constructive and helpful words that have motivated and inspired me since that first trip to the forums. She's very much a fixture in November, helping many people out with their NaNo projects, and I've personally poured over her journals and promps on the matter. Of course there are plenty of people who share their tips and tricks, but her very unique writing style is not only appealing but makes you want to give it a go. It's obvious she cares about Literature, its community here and helping others which is an admirable trait.

In the five years that I've been a member of DA, I've seen a few Lit CVs come and go, and they all leave an impression after their term comes to an end. Doughboycafe is the newest face, and made a great impression right away with contests, promotions and an overall warm presence. All through November, there have been peptalks and support to keep writers going, even through the infamouse second week. But this unlimited motivation is offered all through the year, which makes even the most doubtful writer want to give it a try, because how hard could it be with these kind of awesome people around? Believing in yourself becomes a lot easier, and with many a DD featured during each month, it's obvious doughboycafe truly cares about fellow writers in the community, and shows that giving is a two-way street.
